2nd paper proposal
for the second paper i would like to show how Updike's Rabbit Run can show the consequences of not caring for and tending to your family. In the book, Rabbit leaves his wife and children to pursue a carefree and sinful life. Updike is trying to show just how problematic things can be when family doesn't come first.

I like the subject, but wonder what you'll use for evidence. Will you be using other literary sources for comparison, real life information (from news or journal sources) or something else?
