I will also be writing about Rabbit Run and the connection of the age old moral lesson that you can't run from your problems, must take responsibility, and shouldn't blame others. That is the character of Rabbit, and many or all of us have been there at some point. The idea is to learn at a young age the value of responsibility and to take on more as you grow and mature and to sort of pick and choose your battles, not biting off more than you can chew. I believe Updike had purpose to writing this on sort of what not to do, and although there is an element of sympathy for these types of people (Rabbit) the truth is that you can only blame yourself in similar circumstances. People make choices and from there outcomes reflect your actions and poor/good decisions. I will be writing about those poor decisions made by Rabbit illustrating how careless behavior and lack of responsibility comes with a cost.

Sounds good. Make sure that the sources you use (about personal responsibility and the costs of not excercising it) are credible.
