Paper #2 Proposal

I will be answering the queston, "If we assume (and this is, by no means, a given) that writers write because they want to bring about some kind of change, what might the purpose of some of our authors have been?" using Rabbit, Run by Updike. I think that Updike wants his readers to realize the concequences of their actions and how their actions can affect so many around them.
