Proposal for 2nd paper
Rabbit has been criticised for running from his responsibility as a husband, father and adult. We've discussed the fact that life will not always be perfect and sometimes we just have to "suck it up", accept things as they are and move on.
I would like to look at the "what if" Rabbit had not run. What would his life have been like? Living with an alcoholic, would they have been able to work out their problems? I would like to relate this to my own personal experiences, since I have just divorced my husband of thirty years. The reason? Adultery and drinking.
This paper will probably be painful, but it might actually be very therapeutic for me.

Sounds good (and useful). Make sure that you focus primarily on the text (rather than personal experience) and that you point to specifics (quotes, scenes etc.) rather than making it too general.
