Paer 1 proposal

In my paper I will compare and contrast In Cold Blood with several different series of violent crimes. I will be investigating correlations between the psychological characterizations of Perry and Dick developed by Capote, and the psychological profiles developed by law enforcement officials in several cases, including the Tiffany Souers murder, the BTK killer, and the Baseline killer, a serial killer in Phoenix. In addition to this, I will also be looking at various effects the extensive media coverage these events receive and its effect on the psyche of the community.
